Robert is a life long student of music theory and songwriting, both professionally and self-taught. As a classically trained singer, he has been featured in many regional and off-(off)-broadway musical productions. He also had a successful career in pop music in the 90's. "The Awakening" marks his first original musical theatre creation.

A native of Michigan, Tony holds a BA in Music from Western Michigan University. He moved to New York in 2001, seeking opportunities to expand his musical endeavors and use his creative skills and has since found much success. Aside from being collaborator of “The Awakening”, he is also the co-producer of ‘mrNY.net’, a NYC video podcast.

 
     
  Darren Ledbetter
Musical Director
 
 

Trained at the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music in Cleveland, Ohio, Darren was most recently the Musical Director of the National Tour of "Grease" starring Frankie Avalon. His New York credits include: "Flora the Red Menace" and "Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". Regional credits include: "Romance, Romance", "The Last Five Years", "Pippin", "Footloose", "Miss Saigon", "Sweeney Todd". Darren can also be seen as a cabaret accompanist throughout New York.
