  Joshua Blaylock
  Joshua Blaylock is thrilled to be part of "The Awakening." After
performing to sold out venues as lead singer in the European pop group 1NATION, Joshua moved to NYC to pursue acting and singing/songwriting. Off Broadway: Rebel Without a Cause (Plato). TV: All My Children (Braden), As the World Turns (Jake).

Blaze Kelly Coyle

  Blaze Kelly Coyle has an extensive background in the performing arts, singing and acting since age 5. Theatrical credits: Come Away: the Story of Ruth, Always Patsy Cline, Footloose, & The Gifts of the Magi. Film credits: Royal Tenenbaums, Letting Go, Mafioso: the Father, the Son, Templesmith Motherhood, The Fallen, Fateful & Dead Awakenings.  

Barbara Carames
(Mademoiselle Reisz)

  The Awakening is Barbara’s NYC debut and she’s thrilled! A business professional by day Barbara enjoys performing whenever possible. Favorite roles include: Meredith Parker – Bat Boy, Katherine - Kiss Me Kate, Rachel - Perfect Wedding, Andrea - Once on this Island, and Rizzo - Grease.  

Marc Davila

  Originally from Los Angeles, this is Marc's first project in New York since recently moving to the city. With a background in musical theater, fine arts and design he is excited to be making his debut in "The Awakening." Some of Marc's favorite roles include Seymor "Little Shop of Horrors," Baby John "West Side
Story" and Isaacar "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." He would like to dedicate this show to his son Abdusaram.

Keith Foster

  Credits include "The Tempest", "Hamlet", "Medea", "Ragtime", "Anything Goes", and "…Forum". Keith graduated from James Madison University in his home state of Virginia. He is a founding member of the new theatre group, The Gossip Factory, which will premiere its newest production this fall.  

Hannelies Hepler
(Adele Ratignolle)

  Hannelies Hepler is thrilled to be a part of this production. Favorite credits include Mother in Ragtime, Golde in Fiddler, Cinderella in Into the Woods and Fraulein Kost in Cabaret. A graduate of Butler University in voice and theatre, she wishes to thank her family and friends for their love and support.  
  Katie Kowyn

Originally from Atlanta, GA., Katie received her B.S. from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, studying voice at the Blair School of Music. Favorite credits include A Chorus Line (Sheila), Clue, the Musical (Detective), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Drood), Sweeney Todd, and Pippin'; musical reviews of Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Wild Party


Loresa Lanceta

  A recent graduate of the University of Louisville's Anthropology Department, Loresa's training includes Otterbein Colleges Musical Theatre Department as well as having studied under such talents as Gail Benedict, Melissa Hart, Jay Binder and Michael Dansicker. Recent credits include AIDA (Nehebka), JOSEPH (Narrator), and Disney's MT Workshop. Thanks to Tony, Robert and Darren for this opportunity.  
  Jason Lawergren
(Dr. Farival)
  A 1995 graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy here in NYC who hails from Bemus Point, NY. Past productions throughout the country include: The Will Rogers Follies (Will Rogers), Carousel (Billy Bigelow), Picnic (Hal), Forever Plaid (Smudge), Triumph of Love (Agis), Man of LaMancha (Governor) starring Dirk Lumbard, Oliver! (Fagin) and A Christmas Carol (Scrooge) at The Center for the Performing Arts at DeBaun Auditorium in Hoboken NJ.  
  Natalie Newman
(Edna Pontellier)
  Hailing from the land of grits and sweet tea also known as The South, Natalie now calls NYC home. She is tickled pink to be part of The Awakening and to help bring one of her favorite stories to life. Upon earning her BFA in Music Theatre & BA in Dance from Elon University in '04, she joined the National tour of Grease as Cha Cha (u/s Rizzo). NY Credits include: Follow Me, The Musical (off B'way); The American Girl Revue. Other Credits include: Roxie--Chicago; Hedy LaRue--How to Succeed...; Reno Sweeney--Anything Goes; Charlotte--A Little Night Music. Love to family & friends. God is Good!  
  Macy Neumeier

Macy Neumeier is thrilled to be a part of this extraordinary project. Macy is pursuing her BFA in music at The City College of New York. Previous credits include Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music and Alma Hix in The Music Man, both at the Carousel Dinner Theatre. Performed throughout Europe and the U.S. Worked with the Cantiamo Opera Company and with NPR’s Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion. Thank you to my family, friends and God.


Jessie Novotny

  Jessie Novotny is a recent graduate of Syracuse University with degrees in musical theatre and music industry. Having grown up performing with Opera Delaware of Wilmington, DE, Jessie has since expanded her musical endeavours to include musical theatre performance and song writing. She is currently working on an original pop album with Range Records of Philadelphia. Some of Jessie’s Theatre credits include Woman Number Two in “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” Princess White in “King Gordogan,” and Fern in “Charlotte’s Web.”  

David Schlumpf
(Robert Lebrun)

  David is a recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida. His college credits include Charlie Brown (You're...Charlie Brown), Jamie (Last 5 Years), Charlie (What I Did Last Summer) and Cliff (Cabaret). During his summers, he enjoyed working for Seaside Music Theater and performing such roles as Monsieur D'Arque (Beauty and the Beast) and Bert Healy (Annie). Recently he finished the Phoenix Productions National Tour of Grease as Eugene, after which he moved to New York City to pursue his career. Thanks  
  Tim Shelton

Tim is so excited to be doing his first workshop and technically, first performance in NYC! He loves to sing and act, and has become wildly infatuated with playing the piano recently (see Darren). Tim has appeared in commercials, industrials, some small time film (it's not what you think),
and lot's of theatre all over. He is so excited to be a part of Edna's fantastic journey and wishes to thank Tony and Robert immensely for their trust in him....and for putting up with him. Much love to the Bottom Boys, fun, faith, and my wonderful family!

  Lindsay-Rose Sinclair
  Lindsay-Rose Sinclair is grateful for this opportunity to join The Awakening cast marking her first NYC production. Ccredits include: Reno Sweeny - "Anything Goes" (NJPAC), Erzulie The Goddess of Love - "Once On This Island" (NJPAC), Meg Brockie–"Brigadoon: New Voices of 2002" (Paper Mill Playhouse), and numerous cabarets throughout New Jersey with the Westfield Young Artist's Cooperative Theatre. Lindsay has studied theatre and voice at Montclair State University, Herbert Berghof Studio, and was recently blessed with finding Susan Eichhorn, an amazing vocal coach. She currently has two NYC cabarets in the works and hopes to complete her degree at the New School in Vocal Jazz and Contemporary Music. Thank you to Robert, Tony, and Darren for making this 'journey' such a wonderful experience!!


  Tiffany Diane Smith

  New York credits include; Beatrice in Hell's Kitchen The musical, Daisy Hilton in Side Show, Sophia in Lysistrata The Musical, and Lucy Van Pelt in Y.A.G.M.C.B.. Regional credits; Lavinia Lang in The Road to Dusty Death, Ado'Annie in Oklahoma!, Wendy Jo in Footloose, Morgaine LeFay in Camelot and Ruth in Wonderful Town. Tiffany graduated from Wilkes University with a degree in Musical Theatre. She would like to thank all that made this possible.  

Keith R. Varney
(Leonce Pontellier)

  Keith is originally from Underhill, VT. He has a BM in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music. Recent Credits: Wallace Hartley in Titanic (National tour), Joseph in Two From Galilee, Johnny in Fags and Cellphones (Premier). Keith is also a singer/songwriter.
